Questions about Los Veranos zip line excursion

Had some questions about this tour. We'll be on the Pride in a few weeks and just decided to do this excursion. Do we take a taxi to a meeting place for the shuttle to take us? Looks like they have two places. Which one is it? Do they take you back to the place they picked you up at? Are there taxi's waiting there to take you back to the ship when you're done?

When you contact them they will give you all of the information. You need to take a taxi (apparently $2) to the gas station site where the pick up is, and then they shuttle you from there. Same on the way back.

Yes, taxi ride to Los Veranos site (before bus trip) is approx. 20 mins., and Puerto Vallarta is 1 hr. ahead of ship's time, so be sure to double check times before you leave. We were scheduled for the tour at 11:00 a.m. May 12 (which was 10:00 a.m. ship's time), so we got off the ship at approx. 9:10 a.m., found a cab to the Pemex station near Los Veranos (all cab drivers know where this is), and got to the site at approx. 9:35 a.m. We checked in and wandered around for about 15 mins, came back and got on the bus to the actual canopy tour site (30 mins of windy roads). If you get motion sick - I suggest you take a bonine or dramamine before you go.

 

This was the highlight of our cruise! It was so fantastic - be sure to buy the video $30 or DVD $40 - it will be well worth it when you get home, you'll see the things you didn't have a chance to see very well. We love watching it now, it's like doing it all over again! (Plus, you have proof that you actually DID it!!!)
