1 card per person is always the rule for all ships.

For questions about Carnival, like menus and S&S cards, you should ask on the Carnival board here at Cruise Critic. Excursion prices should be available there as well, although your Travel Agent should have that info for you as well.

Example of sharing a soda card---only one kid will be served a soda at dinner...the other one will do without. If you are going to do the soda card get two.

When the two kids want a soda they will be going to any bar/lounge to get one soda in a glass and get another when its done.

Iced tea and lemondade are free as is choc and white milk. We took our own soda on with us.

If you do not want your kids to have access to the sign and sail card head to the pursers desk and have it closed. That way they can still have their card to open the cabin door.

If you weren't on an cruise ship at sea, what you are suggesting would be a crime in many states. I am not accusing you of anything just stating the facts.

imsulin?? who told you that the kids HAVE to have an account? I have turned my kids cards off on each cruise we have been on. (my kids are not little kids either.)

serene is absolutely right. You may restrict, or cut off completely, the charging privileges on any onboard credit account.

Perhaps something else as well. Watch this space.

Dance like it hurts, love like you need money, and work when somebody's watching.

Ali:

On many cruise lines you can set up the account to allow kids to purchase sodas if they wish but not to make purchases in the shops on board. They can certainly be put under your account. Check with your cruise line, they have experience in dealing with these situations.

You may get the best answers to the questions you have on the particular cruise line board. These are dealt with by many cruisers and the people on these boards will be more than happy to help you.
