Upswell offer

I have received 3 emails over the last 2 days offering an upsell from HH to Verandah for $349pp. Zaandam sailing on Dec 1st. Will HAL come down any further? I'd like to take the offer, but DH doesn't want to.

That will depend on others accepting the offer. These offers are made to a number of passengers. It is first come, first serve. Also, there are often several cabins available and he who accepts first gets a choice or a better choice of cabins.

There is no way to determine if you will get another offer.

Some people will respond quickly and the offer could disappear quickly. Some people may wait -- like you -- and hope for a better offer.

Definitely call and inquire! That is how we got the best deal EVER!! :)

Nothing to lose by calling and trying to get the upsell for the amount you want. All they can do is say yes or no. :)

Omigosh .... I had to crack up when I read the Subject Title! :D

 

So ... I imagined that the cruise lines are now trying to make a few extra dollars when they know that they're going to be sailing into rough seas, and that all the adventurers out there would pay more for this! Hence,

an Upswell offer!

We had an ocean view/14 nights Panama Canal/ the email came in 399. for a Ver. I declined, I MADE a mistake!!

Thanks for all the advice. Yeah, the "upswell" was a result of autocorrect. HaHa. I did call this afternoon and checked for other offers, but the $349pp was all they would offer me. Tonight I checked online and the price of a BC verandah has gone down by $200 pp, making the deal even less attractive than before. Since it is only a 7 day, not a great savings.
