One Thing to Buy

We are not big shoppers but like to pick up one or two things when we go to new places. I was wondering if there was anything indicative to the area that we should pick up. Not big run drinkers.

I always end up buying Jerk sauce. There are thousands of kinds, brands and flavors, so I usually buy three or four small bottles. Delicious!

Blue Mountain coffee is also a big "souvenir". I have also purchased some hand carved wooden crafts items.

We buy rum cream, have bought wood carvings, rum cake, cheap jewelry, didn't bring it home but drank coconut water right out of the coconut :)

get a guide and go eat where the jamaican's eat -- we have eaten at a 5 star resturant in negril - as well as a food stand that we ate in the car fresh corn, fresh snapper and festival bread and bammy - if you don't get a little culture -- I don't know why people go and sit at margaritaville all day:eek:

Or take a red plate -govt. taxi they are safe too -- get round trip price up front. :D
