Large Internet Packages......

When we sailed Oosterdam in June, for the first time we saw larger internet packages offered than had been available in the past.

 

There were packages for (if I remember correctly) 500 and more minutes.

 

Anyone know if they are now widely offered on all the ships?

Can't answer your question, but I'm wondering what the pricing was for 500 minutes. Did it bring the price per minute down to a good level?

It did lower the per minute rate but I don't have the numbers in front of me now.

There were two or three packages of 500 minutes or more that cost less per minute than the 250 minute package at $100.

The new Internet rates were on the Amsterdam in July.

Internet Prices

 

There is a one time $3.95 activation fee.

 

Plan 1 - $0.75 per minute

 

Plan 2 - $55 for 100 minutes

 

Plan 3 - $100 for 250 minutes

Plan 4 -- $175 for 500 minutes

Plan 5 -- $250 for 1000 minutes

Most ships will offer 10 free minutes for Plan 2 and 20 free minutes for Plan 3 if you sign up for a plan on embarkation day.

Check the daily Explorer program for other specials offered during the cruise.
