Jim and I are debating whether or not to stay in Barcelona for a day or two after the cruise.....I guess we'll have to wait until we get our April schedules to see if that's possible. We do have a little vacation time in April, and have applied for a "bid leave" with the vacation. We'll find out about that next week.

Hi Peter, I am sure you have been to Barcelona before?

If not-you have to stay.. it's a great city!!

I can strongly recommend a stay there. As far as hotel is concerned-I always stay at the Hotel Principal. Very close to the Ramblas, nice Hotel, pricewise ok.

Yes, we stayed in Barcelona for a few days in October 2011 before taking the Liberty westbound transatlantic. What a fantastic city!

Just booked the Mariner [Galveston- Singapore] as well...just be interesting getting their after the Liberty.:confused:

I guess they'll be doing some changes during that sailing....casino closed for 7 days or so, and changing some of the shops.....getting ready for the Asian market.

Yes, we did it last year on the Voyager [New Orleans-Barcelona-Dubai]...it was not a big deal since Martin and I don't gamble. They are also giving us an additional $100 OBC for the inconvenience.

 

1 Leg $499x2 - $250 stocks

2 Leg $499x2 - $250 stocks

3 Leg $399x2 - $200 stocks

- $100 OBC Casino Closure

We may get a ZED fare to LHR, then fly to ORD. Although, the "customs fees" out of LHR are ridiculous when non-revving!!! We could always jumpseat to JFK or MIA, I suppose.

 

Alcoholics....I hope you don't mean us...hiccup hiccup.....LOL.
