SDI December 16th thru 22nd St Thomas to St Thomas

Well, back to reality. It was really a wonderful voyage - no kids, perfect weather with the exception of the beach party day (and even that gave us a good window between rainfalls for the beach party), and congenial company. When SD is good, it's good.

 

We left the ship for a quite disappointing three days at the Marriott Morningstar. Holiday Inn amenities and service at Ritz Carlton prices. It's always difficult to go directly from SD to a resort, but this was worse than even that.

 

We did book the Norwegian Fiords cruise for July, 2014, and we have the inaugural Panama Canal/Costa Rica back to back, so we have much to look forward to. But for now, back to work.
