Dawn Princess Stateroom question

I guess we are spoiled by Disney where the "small" staterooms are around 200 sf. I am looking at a cruise on the Dawn Princess and all of the ocean view cabins are 135-155 sf, which doesn't leave room for an extra bed for my daughter. The next step up is a mini-suite, which nearly triples the cost. Category OC supposedly fits 3 people into it, but from the picture it looks the only way is to cram 3 of us into a queen sized bed, which wouldn't be fun. Does anyone have any experience with fitting 3 people into this type of room?

you dont say how old your daughter is but you would have to get a 3 berth cabin and someone sleep on the top bunk

We had an oceanview cabin (E348) on the Sea Princess on Emerald deck with four people. It was quite manageable. You'll have to have the lower beds in a twin configuration with one bunk lowered from above for your daughter. It'll be fine.

Yes, my relatives did just fine with four in an ocean view room. The bunks that lower from the ceiling are fine.

But, I agree with a previous poster that the mini suites on this class of ships are fantastic. If you can spring for the mini, you won't be sorry.

Either way, you will have a great cruise.

Bon voyage!
