Pre-trip report thread, Boarding Passes useless?

If they're doing security checks at the Port, you often have to present a Boarding Pass.

 

Otherwise they normally check for a Boarding Pass to get into the Port Check-In building.

 

The check-in agent scans the QR code on the Boarding Pass to call up your record.

On Pride Dec 2nd and needed to show it at Baltimore to get into the terminal.

I've almost always been asked for it just to enter the terminal. When I get to the desk I just hand it to them with my other info. They do give it back to me when they give me my S&S card.
