Howellmc Posted May 31, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2005 Do the photo shops on board offer a service to copy digital photos to a CD? Can't really tell from any of the info. As an alternative, has anybody downloaded photos using the ship's internet to an online storage area? Thanks
PelicanBill Posted May 31, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2005 If you manage to convince the Internet staff to let you connect your card reader to their equipment, the internet connection is quite slow and you would spend $100 on Internet service for sure. Why not spent that money on 2 extra 1GB cards instead.... Not sure if RCCL has thought to offer images->CD service yet, but Carnival did not earlier this year. CRUSINGFAMILY Posted May 31, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2005 Yes we were just on Voyager and the couple we were with had his memory card put on to a dvd and they charged him $15 to do it. He had filled his card, I have a 512 card and still had space left, took about 250 pictures.
KamloopsCruisers Posted May 31, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2005 This link should answer your questions. Yes, you can have the photo shop staff burn a CD of your pics for you. Some confusion about the cost. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=146469&highlight=digital+photos
DutsCruiser Posted May 31, 2005 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2005 Do the photo shops on board offer a service to copy digital photos to a CD? On both the Voyager as the Navigator they have a machine that allows you to do just that.. I thought it was $10 but "CRUSINGFAMILY" might be right also ($15).
