What Mega Pix to use for Photo's

Recommended Posts

I would still go with the highest resolution, highest quality image I could get out of the camera. You never know until you see it large when you have the perfect shot that you want 8x10. Also the larger finer file gives you plenty of pixels to play with in post processing (photo editing) and cropping for your do-it-yourself digital zoom.

I agree with Jim. Why limit your options on a photo you may never be able to reproduce again. Memory cards are very cheap and there are many portable storage options you can use while on a cruise. Shoot a lot of memories. :) :)

Go for the highest resolution possible, it takes more room on your card but is much more flexible in the long run. 1 gig cards are not that expensive nowdays and you can always download to make more room.
