marco Posted April 16, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2004 Nice photos, but are you SURE the one of QM2 isn't the original QM in Long Beach. The "2" does NOT have 3 funnels.
Rare robbinsca Posted May 30, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 30, 2004 I can guarantee that the picture isn't of the original. It has been anchored, and boxed in by concrete since at least 1979. How do I know.....well, I spent my honeymoon on it, and now am heading for the 25th anniversary cruise on the Summit next month. Unitl we leave on Celebrity Summit- Feels like the first time...... tomluvsaida Posted December 19, 2005 #8 Share Posted December 19, 2005 Can anyone tell me about their experience with a Los Angeles to Hawaii cruse? I'm looking at going there with my fiancé for our honeymoon. The one I looked at looks like it stops in Ensenada Mexico for only about an hour with no chance of a shore excursion. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that. Also is there enough to do on the ship for the long time at sea between Los Angeles and Hawaii/ Hawaii > Mexico. Cam6959 Posted January 30, 2006 #10 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Because of certain acts or laws we need to stop at an international port. I think it is the Jones act but don't quote me on that. I have a terrible memory for names.:D I go March 12th on the Summit R/T to Hawaii. We stop there for one hour at 11pm for the reason I mentioned. Have a Great Cruise!
