6rugrats Posted January 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2013 I don't think anyone can give you a definitive answer. Canada does not consider an OWI (DUI/DWI) a minor offense; it's a felony. Are you applying for a TRV for a cruise visit?
Putterdude Posted January 2, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2013 Welcome to Cruise Critic. A TRV can take six months or more. May I ask, will you be entering Canada for the purpose of taking a cruise to Alaska, just merely making a stop in Victoria on an Alaska cruise out of Seattle or entering Canada on a cruise up the Atlantic seaboard? Also, how is a OWI handled in your state, is it misdemeanor offense where it is not on your record or what? This could impact your need for a TRV.
