crusinpsychRN Posted January 7, 2013 #177 Share Posted January 7, 2013 Thank you. I may at some point give photography a shot. Maybe sooner rather than later. I haven't been back to work this year and already hate my job again. Deanie's is a great value and good, too! What DO you do? With your writing talent, sense of humor and photgraphy I'd read anything you wrote.

Sargent_Schultz Posted January 7, 2013 Author #181 Share Posted January 7, 2013 What DO you do? With your writing talent, sense of humor and photgraphy I'd read anything you wrote. Thank you. After Wednesday, a whole lot less. My background is kind of, sort of, similar to Kokomo_Man's and he apparently has transitioned to writing. Semi-retired doing aerospace contract work, so writing about cruising would be logical. ;) I recall going into engineering it the first place because there were no English classes required. :p
Sargent_Schultz Posted January 7, 2013 Author #182 Share Posted January 7, 2013 (edited) Those drinks look amazing! Do they have that bar menu on all the ships? Nope. Only on ships that have received Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades, specifically an Alchemy Bar. Instead of ordering from the menu, you can just tell them what flavors you like and they will concoct a "prescription" cocktail for you. Sargent_Schultz Posted January 8, 2013 Author #184 Share Posted January 8, 2013 Day 2 - Hey, found an omelette station picture Anyway, Guy's isn't open for breakfast, so you'll have to make do with something else. Blue Iguana Cantina is open for breakfast, and I never saw much of a line there or anywhere else, ever. I did a leisurely stroll aground the Cantina, taking pictures. They kept trying to get me to take a burrito instead.

Sargent_Schultz Posted January 8, 2013 Author #187 Share Posted January 8, 2013 My mission was to end up at the Punchliner Brunch on this first sea day, but did some walking first. I was curious if the wake had changed, or the name of the ship, with Fun Ship 2.0 before: it had not in either case.

Sargent_Schultz Posted January 8, 2013 Author #198 Share Posted January 8, 2013 On our Conquest cruise in 2011, we had a balcony on the Spa deck. While these are a little larger (allegedly), I didn't like that there was no roof to keep weather or prying eyes out. Sometimes people would even try to start conversations.
