Distance between pier and airport in Vancouver

We will be sailing on the Serendae of the Seas on Aug. 28, 2005 was wondering how long of a ride it is from Ballantyne pier to the airport. We have a 2:15pm flight back to NY.

Its about a 25 minute cab drive.

It is a congested stop and go city. Allow at least 30 mins. for the cab ride, you should have no trouble making your flight.

You may be better off taking the RCCL shuttle to the airport. Due to new security procedures getting into Ballantyne area (as of June 20), the taxi situation is terrible, as cabbies are avoiding the place. If your wait for a taxi is less than an hour, you'll be one of the lucky ones.

It's 18 miles and can take up to 45 minutes depending on traffic and route taken

Experience last week and talking to cabbies. I just noticed that I said that the new security was instituted on June 20 - it was May 20.
