Budget Car Rental Price Change

I reserved a car a couple of months ago online with Budget. I found a cheaper rate and so just went to cancel that reservation and when I brought up my reservation on the Budget site the final cost was listed at $540 for my 2.5 day rental!!! My email confirmation said $163!!!! I was shocked and just went ahead and cancelled the reservation but now wish I would've contacted them to ask why the increase in rate. Anyone else ever had that happen? I'm really glad I went to cancel it and didn't wait until just before leaving on our trip to print off the confirmation and see that rate :mad:
