Questions about Miami & Carnival Imagination

Sailing on the Carnival Imagination in March. Need to know:

1- How far is it from Miami International Airport to the Port of Miami? Is it better to get a taxi, an independent shuttle, or buy the carnival transfer ($64 round trip for couple)?

2- Are their hair dryers in the interior or porthole rooms on the Riviera Deck?

3- Does the Imagination have steam and sauna? Are men's/women's separate, or is there one big coed one?

Best Deal is a Taxi from the Airport. The rates are fixed to the port, so there is no way to get "lost". THere are plenty of taxis.

2- Are their hair dryers in the interior or porthole rooms on the Riviera Deck?Yes, all rooms have hairdryers.

3- Does the Imagination have steam and sauna? Are men's/women's separate, or is there one big coed one?

I am not sure on this one... sorry!

Unless it's changed, I didn't think there was a decent hair dryer provided. We were in a grand suite and there was just the hose on the wall thing that had very poor airflow. It would have taken me at least an hour to dry my hair with it.

You can take a taxi for far less than the transfer price. I believe $24 flat rate.

Sauna & steam room were separate, no men in the women's room.

1. Don't have an answer for this one, sorry. I stayed in a pre-cruise hotel, and used their shuttles. It was free from MIA to the hotel, and $10 from the hotel to the port. If you want the direct route, I'll leave the answer to other members.

2. No hair dryers in any cabins except suites. This is true for all Fantasy class ships, unless something changed. You'll need to bring your own or do without.

3. Yes, it has a steam and sauna. They're located inside respective locker rooms.
