Jitney in Nassau question

If you get on the Jitney at the dock, does it do a tour of Nassau (make a loop) back to the docks? If it does, how long does it take, which bus makes the best loop?

Thanks!

The #10 or #12 from George Street is the one you want. Ask if they are doing the loop (these are independent drivers and sometimes run errands or pick up family members or even go home for lunch). Remember.. if you do the look, you should pay $2.50. The trip should take a little over an hour.. unless your caught up in rush hour traffic.. which could add 30 or more minutes.

We took the #10 Jitney last week to the Sheraton, $1.25 pp each way. We asked the driver how often the bus runs from the Sheraton back to the port. He asked what time we wanted him to come back for us. We set a time but later decided that we wanted to be picked up an hour sooner. Tony, the driver, had given us his card so we used the local phone, called him & he was there to get our party of 17 in less than 15 minute. I have his business card if you would like to ask him any questions. Im sure he would be glad to answer. He did get a pretty good tip from us too :)
