Leezer Posted January 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2013 My son will be 2.5 when we sail on Oasis. I'll also have a 6 year old. We'll be stopping in St Thomas and St Maarten. Anyone been to these ports with a toddler? Any recommendations? Could be a tour or something on our own. Thanks!
crusinmama06 Posted January 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2013 St. Thomas has Coral World (with Coki beach right next to it). We used to do that when the kids were smaller. St. Martin - pick a beach. We jump in a taxi and head over to Orient for $7.00pp as long as YOU are aware that it is a "French European" beach and you will see topless sunbathers. The "nude resort" Club Orient people stay at the far end and do not come out of that area. The padded beach chairs up front are $20.00 - in the back are $10.00. We have been to Orient Beach a few times but the kids really had a great time last month. I think it was because we were escaping the cold back home ;)

rm1247 Posted January 20, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2013 We were at both ports a year ago with our 18 mo. We were traveling with friends and our older kids (8 kids total), so our dd pretty much went with the flow. In St. Martaan, we took an island tour and stopped at 2 different beaches. It was a private tour and the guide was great with our kids. In St. Thomas we took a taxi to Emerald Beach and spent the day there. It was gorgeous!
