Linked reservations and excursions

Recommended Posts

We just booked a cruise but it's not until April 2014 and a few of my husband's co-workers and their families will be joining us. We are using different travel agents and supposedly our reservations are "linked" but does that mean we will get one big table for dining or two? There are 15 of us so far.

Also, if we signed up for some of the same excursions, because of the linked reservations does that mean we will likely be in the same group/excursion? This is our 7th RC cruise but never have sailed with other people.

Can you share your experiences with "linking" reservations?

Linking reservations usually refers to dining at the same table. I really don't know if it affects excursions or not. You will most likely be seated at 2 tables for near each other as the largest table is for 12 people.
