Help! 1st time RCL cruisers...have questions

Hi!

We're going to be on the Jewel of the Seas in a few months with some friends and were wondering:

 

- Is there and outdoor theater with a big screen?

- Can you set up your cabin phone for messages, and how would you call cabin to cabin?

- How many plugs are there in the room?

- Can you have a iron delivered to your room or do you have to go to a laundry room?

Hi,

 

There are no irons allowed to be brought on board nor will any be supplied. There is a laundry service provided by the ship; you can have just pressing, no self laundry facilities other than your bathroom sink. There will also be a laundry special day where you can have a bag of items laundered and returned folded not pressed.

 

Last time I was on Jewel there was no outdoor cinema. Check the website for ship entertainment.

 

Your room phone can take messages. You simply dial the other cabin..... instructions are on the phone.

 

There are a couple of sockets on the dresser.

Jewel is not scheduled for the new enhancements (movie screen, etc.) until 2016.
