My husband and I lost out last year on the premium drink package which was offered at a 10% discount after we had purchased it. We are on a 14 night Eclipse cruise on 6 July this year. Does anyone know if and when a similar discount will be offered for this summer?

The classic is free at the moment and you can upgrade to premium for $11.50 a day. If your country doesn't offer it book via US or Europe.

Last year they offered discounted packages in June. I booked then for my end-September cruise.

 

I'm not sure why you lost out. I had bought drink packages before June because I read a rumor that the price was going up and wanted to catch the old price. Either the price didn't go up or the discounted price was less than I had already paid - don't remember. I canceled the drink packages and bought them at the discounted price. It took about 3 days for the original package to be refunded to my credit card.

We lost out because I didn't know it had been discounted until 2 days before the cruise, when it was too late to cancel and rebook. It was however still a great package but if we manage to get it discounted by 10% for 2 people for a 14 nighter this year, it will be even better!
