Will be sailing on the Explorer of the Seas Feb 1, 2013.

Does anyone know who the current Captain is?

The usual contract length is 10 weeks, so the changeover is due this sailing or next. You'll probably have Capt Olav for your cruise.

That's great to hear. We'll be leaving on the 10th. We've sailed with Capt. Olav before and he's great....very personable but professional. He was the captain on our famous Hurricane Sandy cruise on the Explorer in October and he did a great job of keeping us safe. He also kept everyone up to date on what was happening and what they were doing to avoid the storm as much as possible.
