Deb71 Posted January 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2013 Morning everyone :) Just wondering - on previous cruises the day at sea has always been on the first day which was when the saftey drill was carried out, also the tour around the ship, the excursions presentation and Captains Night. On this itinerary there are new passengers joining the ship at Gran Canaria on the first day and the sea day isnt until day 5. Can the more experienced cruisers tell me what happens? We arrived on the ship late afternoon in Tenerife. The safety drill took place at 7pm that evening in the various lounges ( due to limited space on the decks ). Our drill was in the Jubilee Lounge. The Captain's Night was on the sea day.
