Norwegian Spirit Deck 6 Cabin Selection

Hi, Me and my family have just booked the 12 night Venice to Barcelona Cruise on the Norwegian Spirit and we booked the cabins 6007 & 6009 and wondered if anyone had stayed in that area of the ship and what it was like to stay in there noise wise and size wise as it is located under the casino.

 

My family are all first time cruisers and have never been to the Mediterranean so we don't know what it is like.

 

So any comments would be appreciated!

Good question, and I'd like to know the answer, too! :confused: I'm on the same intinerary (are you sailing September 20?) and I moved to Deck 5 specifically so I wouldn't be under the casino and the nightclub.

 

Does anyone know?

I have never stayed in that area of the ship but I would be concerned about late night noise from what is above.

The reason why we were placed there was because we booked today and that area had the only inside staterooms left in the whole ship.

 

I just hope the casino is not that noisy.

We stayed in 6535 several years ago. It's right under the stairs and is one of the 200 sf cabins. It was very spacious and quiet. If you can switch to that one, go for it...it was awesome!!!

Can't answer your question since this is our first NCL cruise, but we are on that cruise as well :)

I'd like to know too. We are in 6558 that same cruise and I'm concerned about people walking over our heads at all hours with The Promenade being over us.

 

I gave up rooms on deck 5 in order to "upgrade" to this but am having second thoughts.

I just called and was able to move to deck 5. Crossing fingers that it's a good solution. This is a once & a lifetime trip & would hate for it to be miserable on board.
