No more silver medals??

When we were on the Jewel in January, we went to the golf challenge for adults. After we participated, the winner was given a gold medal while I received a "make a wish" pin for 2nd place, and same pin for the 3rd place winner.

 

Last cruise, we all got the appropriate medals- gold, silver, and bronze. Is this just on Jewel or are all ships getting stingy on giving out medals??

 

Funny thing, we saw many of the kids on the ships with all sorts of different medals. Do they think we are too old for wanting rewards!:confused:

On the Freedom, we recieved gold medals for the rock climbing wall and beach volleyball.

Silver for a dodgeball and it was a medal.

Hope on Allure they still give medals for all places.

maybe they ran out. They gave out Gold Silver and Bronze on the Allure for the progressive Trivia. I have several of those Medals, as well as some X's from Celebrity.

Why don't you get better, then you would win a gold medal and wouldn't have to worry about a silver medal. :D
