tlm Posted February 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2013 We cruised to Alaska in 2006 on the Sun in AE 9076. We are now looking at booking the same suite on an 11 day Southern Carribean for next year. I understand there have been some changes made. Could anyone tell me what has been done to the ship, to the suite and to any amenities that come with the suite. Thanks Toni

Thanks so much! Your pics show me that they have refurbished the suite since we were there. This is what it looked like back then. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e191/Tonigord/100_1473.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e191/Tonigord/100_1466.jpg When we sailed in 2006, there were two butlers who looked after all the suites on the ship. As this was our first experience having a butler it was a little confusing for us as we were not sure who our butler was! Is that the same? I understand that breakfast is served in Il Adiago for suite people? We didn't have that or we were not aware of it when we sailed in 2006. Is there reserved seating in the theatre for suites? Thanks for all your help Toni

Yes, there are two butlers - you will be assigned a specific one and given contact information to reach him or her. Breakfast, oh fabulous breakfast :D, is served in Il Adagio and is a wonderful perk. There is reserved seating in the right balcony for suites. The concierge will typically be there during seating to guide you to the seats. We preferred to sit in the center balcony so never actually used the reserved seating.
