kekecruiser Posted February 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Hi, Every year when we cruise there tends to be a popular line dance such as Wobble Baby Wobble, electric slide or one cent, 5 cent, ten cent etc. Does anybody know of the newest dance crazy that my kids can prepare for before we cruise next month? Thanks, Kristen
INCHARGE Posted February 4, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Gingnam Style seemed to be popular on the Breeze. They were showing everyone how to do it. :)
Kingisacruiser Posted February 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Maybe the Wop. And it's not the old school wop from the 80s. I think the artist who sings the song is called J Smash. It's a relatively easy dance after doing it a few dozen times. The song seems to have been out for sometime but so was the Wobble before seeing it for the first time in 2011. There are many renditions on You Tube. Also, the staples are the cupid shuffle and the cha cha
capcutie2002 Posted February 4, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2013 In November the newest one was Gangnam style. They still did The Wobble, Cha Cha Slide, and other older ones.

k2excursion Posted February 4, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Gangnam Style is the newest craze, taking the world by storm. There is no set pattern or choreography for doing it, just rotating between the 2 horse-riding motions. The full dance to it is not taught or known by very many. Others that do have more of a set pattern, in addition to what you listed, are Cha Cha Slide, Cupid Shuffle, one of the 10 billion versions of the Boot Scootin Boogey. Some others that you might see is a Chicken Dance/Macarena medley, the Mississippi Slide, Follow the Leader, Copperhead Road.
