Rum Point Beach or Tiki Beach?

Hi! We are thinking of booking an excursion to Stingray City with Carnival. There are two tours that go to different beaches afterward. Which one would you recommend? We are a couple in our early 40's traveling without our kids.

Our other option is to just get off the boat and walk to Captain Marvin's and try to get on one of his tours and then just get dropped off at 7 mile beach. All help is welcome and much needed! I don't want to book Captain Marvin's in advance, in case there are problems tendering to shore.

Rum Point is beautiful!

Definitely RP, and it's probably the only chance you'll get to see it unless you return for an island stay. Nice beach, great fried grouper sandwich and the best mudslide.

Thank you! Do you think I should do the tour with the cruise ship, or try and go on my own with Captain Marvin's? There are two ships in port that day, Carnival Liberty and Magic

We haven't gone with Cap't Marvins but the reviews are great and it's nice not going on your own when you're comfortable with it.
