Yes, I use one for shirts or blouses. The biggest benefit IMO is a compact way to pack a stack of 4 or 5 shirts flat so it can fit into the zip around section on the top part of my bag. I does help to prevent some wrinkling, but there are still going to be creases where the garments are folded.

I use the Eagle Creek brand, they look very similar to the Travelon folders.

 

My best use for them is the clothing, pj's, robes, undies, etc... for the one night and next day when we arrive early for a cruise. That way we don't have to disturb the rest of the suitcase.
