Cozumel beaches in March?

For those that have been to Cozumel in March, is the water typically rough or more windy than usual? We would like to experience the still quiet crystal clear water that you see in the brochures! Is this possible in March and if so which beach do you suggest?

Most of the big beach clubs are on the same side of the island -- if there is a weather issue affecting one, it will affect them all.

If the water seems choppy/rough at the pier you might explore the other side of the island for better conditions, but it will cost you more for a taxi. :(

 

We like Nachi Cocom for a quiet, relaxing, all-inclusive beach day, the Money bar for great shore snorkeling, and Paradise Beach if we are just there for a short time. Good luck! :)
