beltane Posted February 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2013 We are doing the "with wine" dinner... Does anyone know if they keep topping up your glass? Not that I plan to get plastered, but when we did the Chef's dinner on Carnival last year Hubs and I were pleasantly surprised to have our wine glasses constantly topped up. DMCinSJC Posted February 13, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2013 I was on the Golden for the Christmas/New Years sailing and participated in the Chef's Dinner. We had so much wine, we actually had to ask them to stop filling our glasses...sometimes enough is really enough :) I hope your experience is as wonderful as ours was...truly amazing. keylimepie Posted February 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2013 Oh yeahhhhh, they will top it off again and again! We also had a wonderful dessert of cracked black pepper raspberry sorbet with Grey Goose vodka generously poured over the top...made a nice slushy after you ate the sorbet. ;) You won't need anything else to drink after the Chef's Table! Enjoy! It's a blast! Keith/Colo Cruiser ~ Hi! My husband and I met you on the Emerald in July 2010. Not sure if you remember, but we had breakfast or coffee at Sabatini's a couple of times together and watched the guy with the weird horn outside on the deck??? :D Hope to cruise with you again sometime! Crown Cruiser Posted February 14, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Beltane, Hope your dinner was wonderful. Would you let me know what was served during the Chef's Dinner? I participated during Ruby's Inaugural and was wondering if it is still the same menu. Thanks.

bigchid Posted February 15, 2013 #10 Share Posted February 15, 2013 My glass never got empty, put when they started a new course, they would switch to the appropriate wine.
