My heart goes out

To all the people involved in the Triumph - the passengers, the crew, the people at Carnival that have to answer the phone during all this!

My goodness - I am certain that whoever made the decision to continue cruises on a ship that was showing signs of possible failure feels just awful now.

The anger and malice that I am reading in some of these posts just amazes me. NOBODY wanted nor expected this to happen.

And I feel so bad for EVERYONE involved!

I have not even sailed on Carnival yet - but I am certainly still going to and I am going to enjoy myself - I'm sure of it!

I feel bad for the crew and the passengers too. But if I ever considered cruising with Carnival before this incident, I no longer do. This has confirmed my belief not to take a cruise with Carnival ever again, even if the prices was low or free. I just value my safety too much. The engine fire may have been an isolated incident, but when we look at the 2010 Splendor fire and other incidents on their ships in recent years, I cant help but question the judgment of their management in letting these ships out on the water. I just will not take that chance so until that changes, I refuse to sail on any of their ships.
