Lucky you . . . that happened to us only 5 months after we booked and paid for our Nov. 2012 cruise. The price drop was only $197 pp. but we thought we would be entitled to it. We were told "sorry, new bookings only".

This week I noticed that the air portion of our cruise, that I paid for almost a year ago, had dropped. I had my TA contact Viking and we got a refund of almost 600 for the two rooms. Woo Hoo!

I think that's because they still have cabins in your category available. Viking never does a price adjustment unless they see $200 cancellation fee is covered by a refund you'd get from price drop.
