Wheelchair Taxis in NZ

If any cruisers are coming to NZ with wheelchair needs, you may like to know that all Taxi companies have a percentage of their fleet equipped with wheelchair hoists, these are small mini-buses and are able to carry a number of passengers plus the wheelchair user. If you book a taxi and need this facility please make sure you make it know when booking. There is no additional charge for this service. The standard taxi sedans are not equiped for wheelchairs, unlike some taxis in other countries [eg. Londons black cabs].:)
