Belize or Falmouth

Just went to Falmouth last month. I'd never go back again. The port area is super-commercial (all operated by the cruise lines) and the area outside of that is dangerous. The cost to get anywhere past the immediate port area was prohibitive. It would have cost us $80 to just get to the open air craft market. I'd absolutely NEVER take kids there.

JMHO,

Trish

Belize! We did an excursion to Lamanai ruins, and it was so much fun for all ages on our trip! It included lunch, a river boat ride, and the ruins. We got to see two different kinds of monkeys, crocodiles, and bats all in their natural habitat. It was such a cool experience!

My DH loves Caye Caulker if you're wanting a beach experience, but the ruins were a great adventure!
