Early saver question

I booked an early saver rate on the glory for 4-14-13. With carnivals current sale the current price for my cabin is a little cheaper since it comes with an onboard credit. For example I paid 500 for the room but you can book it now for 650 and get a 250 onboard credit. (not actual price just used for an easy example) Does this qualify me for the price protection? If so how do I go about claiming it. I booked through a travel agent.

Thanks

Daniel

I knew I had to go through my TA. At the time of posting this she was telling me i could not get the credit however she did come up with a way to give it to me later on. I had to pay the differenc in ticket prices and then she was able to get the onboard credit.
