Tampa Rental Car

We are traveling to Tamp on the Dawn in just a couple weeks. We're sticking around a few days after the cruise and need a rental car. Any of you used a service that picked you up at the pier? Thanks for any guidance!

We used National a while back who offered free shuttles to/from their TPA airport location. There is a Hertz office located about two LONG blocks from the port inside the Marriott. Good luck! :)

I believe Thrifty and Dollar also offer a shuttle as I have seen them pulling in/out of the drop off location, on both of our cruises out of Tampa.

Have used the Hertz location at the Marriott and yes it is about a 15 minute walk. There is also an Alamo kiosk that offers rentals from the Westin hotel. They offer a courtesy shuttle from the pier. We didn't know that and took a cab, which cost us $9 including tip. We were second in line when they opened at 9 AM so we were happy to have taken a taxi. We returned the car to the airport around 5pm after visiting the beach in Clearwater.
