P+o cruise cards

I have just read on a review site that P+O take your cruise card from you at the end of your cruise, is this right ?

Hi We have cruised with P&O and unfortunately they do take your card at final disembarkation. It would of course be nive to keep them xxx

Thanks Rolo, thats a shame as I have managed to keep every card so far except for the QM2 but they did give me a substitute card to remember your voyage.

You could always say you have lost the original card and they will give you another one. or at least thats what happened when my daughter lost her card.:D

You should just do this partway through the cruise. That is what I did. They just print off a brand new card there and then, and you can use the old card as your souvenir.

They take your card to scan you off the ship they dont hand it back. BUT if you really want to keep it... just say you packed it by mistake ( which I often really do ) and they just take the cabin number from you and ping you off the ships computer that way...
