Very smart, i was in the little cubbyhole 6003 on the starboard side.

the junior suites on deck 9 have bay windows, i can't believe they charge the same money to upgrade to the ones on deck 6

Davecctr - The cabin was OK but there was a lot of noise at night from Royal Fireworks on deck 5 below us. As seems normal these days, they kept turning up the volume in line with the increased level of conversation. It can't have been pleasant to be in there! Only problem was bare wiring protruding from the swivel joint of the lamp over by the couch. I found out the hard way and had a nasty electric shock from it on my arm when I tried to turn it on. Reported to cabin stewards but although they confirmed the problem nothing was done by the maintenance staff. Could be a killer if someone caught the wires on their palm, especially a visiting child. This is a major failing IMHO and possibly representative of some aspects of maintenance around the ship. We enjoyed the break but having enjoyed the Dream last February we were somewhat disappointed. It won't figure in our future plans.
