Guarantee Question

I am booked on the MSC Poesia for April 6, 2013 cruise and have a guarantee.

Does MSC wait until you arrive at the pier to assign your cabin? If they assign it before then where can you look to see your cabin number. Thanks for your reply.

The official policy is that they may assign it at any time up to embarkation. In practice it seems they allocate 7-14 days before.

 

If you go to the MSC website for the country in which you made the booking and do a dummy booking for onboard reservations, if your cabin has been assigned it will show on the top righthand side, on the same line as your booking number.
