Loving your review. I have an aft cabin booked for March 2014, I'm thinking it may be too noisy for me now. Maybe I will switch it back to my usual balcony cabin and be done w/it.

If you can normally sleep with a fan or air conditioner on you should be fine. The wake noise is a very steady white noise.

I am very late to your review for the Independence of the Seas, but it was wonderful! We are going on it March 2016! This past March we went on the Liberty of the Seas and they pretty much look alike. It seems like you had a great time! We like March Madness basketball so we like to go and watch the games out by the pool on the big screen!
