Hilton airport hotel and wine

Where are some stores that sell wine (even drugstore locales are okay) within walking or short taxi ride away?

Pls give me an idea re taxi ride cost too one way.

Is there a bus service by the Hilton?

Your post is a bit confusing :confused:, but I will try to help.

 

Near the MIA airport, in the Blue Lagoon neighborhood, there is a Hilton hotel, as well as a Hampton Inn and a Homewood Suites. All three offer free airport shuttle-bus service and there is a local shopping mall with several restaurants as awell as drug, grocery and liquor stores within walking distance (directly across the street from the Hampton Inn) -- you can find just about any wine you are likely to want in one of these stores.

 

A taxi from the airport to POM is a flat rate of $24+tip; if you taxi from one of these hotels it will be on the meter and will likely cost closer to $26+tip.

 

If you are flying in the day of your cruise (BIG mistake) and just want to pick-up wine on the way to POM, tell your cab driver and he will know where to stop -- you will be on the meter, so shop fast!
