Please help me understand price rate terms

I am sure that i'm not the only person with this issue, but I am having a hard time understanding the difference between Easy Saver, Early Saver, and Super Saver rate codes.

 

PLEASE HELP!:confused:

With all the NEW Terms and Conditions it is best if you read through the official terms listed on Carnival's site.

Some things have changed that were allowed before.

Prime example .. no more free upgrades in lieu of OBC.

Early Saver

  • Early Saver fare is backed by a unique price protection policy.
  • Price protection does not apply to Super Saver, Instant Saver fares, group rates, membership rates, select promotions, or travel agent promotions.
  • Verified rate difference isissued as an onboard credit.
  • Cancellations prior to final payment due date willreceive a non-refundable and non-transferable future cruise credit in the amount of the deposit less a $50 pp service fee.
  • The future cruise credit must be used for bookings in USD currency within 24 months from the date of cancellation.
  • Subsequent upgrades in lieu of price protection will no longer be offered.
  • No name changes are allowed.
  • A $50 fee per guest will be assessed for ship/sail date changes made prior to final payment date.

Super Saver

  • A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • Guests who book Super Saver are not eligible for any price protection.
  • This fare does not qualify for Early Saver price protection.
  • Guest selects stateroomtype (e.g. interior, ocean view, balcony or suite), but Carnival assigns the deck and location of the stateroom.
  • Stateroom assignment will be provided at the time of check-in on embarkation day.
  • Full names are required for each guest.
  • No name changes are allowed.
  • Subsequent upgrades in lieu of price protection will nolonger be offered.

Easy Saver

  • Easy Saver fare does not qualify for price protection.
  • Full names are required for each guest.
  • No name changes are allowed.
  • A $50 change fee per guest will be assessed for ship and/or sail date changes made prior to final payment due date.All cancellations that occur prior to final payment due date will receive a non-refundable and non-transferable future cruise credit in the amount of the deposit less a $50 pp service fee.
  • The Future cruise credit must be used for bookings in USD currency within 24 months from the date of cancellation.
  • Subsequent upgrades in lieu of price protection will no longer be offered.
