Credit card reward "Cruise Dollars"

My credit card reward program allows me to buy discounted Carnival "Cruise Dollars". I've read the terms and conditions including the special 800 number to have them applied, and the FL addy to mail the paper certificates. No where does it state what will happen if I cancel the cruise.

 

If I were to cancel within the appropriate time frame for a refund, what form would the refund take? Replacement certificates, future credit, straight cash, other?
