Good Hotel in Miami after Cruise??

Does anyone know a good hotel in Miami for after our cruise that has early check-in?? We only need a room for one night and will be flying out in the morning from Miami international airport so would like to stay somewhat close to the airport but still have a nice beach/pool day??

Most hotels, if they can't check you in early, will watch your bags while you grab lunch, etc.

 

Near MIA we like hotels in the Blue Lagoon area - Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn, Hilton, Sofitel, etc. All offer free airport shuttles and have shopping and dining options nearby (local mall is across the street from the Hampton Inn, and a 5 minute walk from the others). We've stayed at the Homewood Suites a couple of times - big rooms, great breakfast, and nice pool/hot tub area.

 

You can shuttle to MIA and from there ride the airport flyer bus to South Beach for only $2.35 each! :D

If you want to be near the airport, beach is not an option. But I agree that the Blue Lagoon area gives you some restaurant options in walking distance and a pool. And if you want to change up the day totally do the bus to S beach as John recs. It's a great place to people watch, beach, eat etc. TIme will fly there.
