Back from Ruby 2-24-13 Sailing

We are home from the 2-24 sailing of the Ruby Princess - our second on her and we had a WONDERFUL time - very relaxing. Will write up a detailed review later this week - but suffice it to say that she more than lived up to our expectations.

It was a cruise of "firsts" for us - first time we didn't get off the ship at all, first time we didn't attend a show of any kind, first time we only ate in the dining room or at the International Cafe - you get the picture - my husband has had some physical challenges and can't walk distances as he used to - so we just enjoyed the ship. We had the gym all to ourselves a few times. The food and service in the DaVinci dining room was excellent! We only ate in that one so I can't comment on anywhere else. The whole crew of this ship from the Commodore on down made us feel at home. It was our 11th Princess cruise - and one of the very best! More later.......
