Is Insect Repellant Needed?

I'll be in St. Thomas and St. Martin in mid-May. Should I pack bug spray, or is it not too bad?

LadyK we've been there twice, both in winter and summer and never found any bugs at the beaches. Of course, if you've got some kick-butt perfume on maybe you'll be iresistable!

By just asking the question you must be at least a little susceptible to bites.

Answer is YES! It's easy to carry in a ziplock, and a whole lot cheaper at home than it is down island!

Can't speak about mid-May, but we just returned from St. Thomas last week.
No insect problems at all.
