Kiwi935 Posted March 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Which is better for one night pre-cruise stay, LaQuinta Airport East or Hyatt Regency Downtown Miami? Thank you
vski21 Posted March 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2013 My suggestion would be downtown. I have not stayed at the Hyatt. I have stayed at the Intercontinental and the Holiday Inn Port of Miami. Both of these hotels are right next to Bayside Marketplace (I think the Hyatt is in that area also). Bayside is just a fun place to start your vacation. They have food, drinks, shopping and live bands. There is also a CVS right there where you can get any last minute items (wine, water, toiletries...etc). I used last minute travel dot com to get great deals on both of my hotels. Hope this helps!! Have a great cruise!!

Rare Keith1010 Posted March 11, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Most definitely the Hyatt. It will provide opportunities for dinner and possibly to walk around. Keith
JohninDC Posted March 11, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 11, 2013 LQ East is a budget hotel in an isolated location - no shopping or dining nearby (except for the Embassy Suites, where dinner will likely cost more than your LQ room ). Look downtown unless you are getting in late and just want a bed and a shuttle to POM the next day. Good luck! :)
eandj Posted March 12, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 12, 2013 For sure downtown unless you are looking for a place to park your car while gone. LaQ is popular for that.
