Gate 1 to China

Has anyone done any river cruising with Gate 1? This will be our second river cruise, the first being with Uniworld. The rates with Gate 1 were so reasonable that we had to give them a try. We will be going in Sept. and would welcome any information from anyone who has used this company in the past. Also, anyone who has gone to China in early Sept. I would love tips on how to pack as far as weather. We leave on Sept.6 doing Shanghai to Beijing.

Viking (the cruise we were on) ship was in a lock with this ship and there were people on that boat with Gate 1 badges on. I would suggest that you peruse the Viking China thread for information about China. Even though it is a different cruise line there is some general information that is pertinent to all China travels.
